Identafi

Identafi screening is a safe, non-invasive examination of oral tissues, using a special light.  The exam is conducted by the hygienist and/or dentist on patients 18 years or older.  It is a visual aid that helps the doctor detect abnormal tissue in the mouth. If abnormal tissue is detected, the doctor will monitor for any changes and if needed a referral to a specialist will be made.  Screening can lead to the early detection of a wide variety of oral conditions.
