Meet The Doctors



Dr. Ken Motomura

Dr. Ken Motomura graduated from the University of Toronto with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) in 1986. Upon graduating from dental school, he started a practice in Mississauga, Ontario. In 2007, he opened an office in Cambridge, Ontario where he now works full-time.

Dr. Motomura was born and raised in Toronto. He has lived in Cambridge since 1990, where he and his wife have raised their 3 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and he is an avid Toronto sports fan.  He stays active by running, and hiking during his travels.


Dr. Kelsey Motomura

Dr. Ken Motomura welcomed his daughter Dr. Kelsey Motomura to his practice in the summer of 2018.  Dr. Kelsey was born and raised in Cambridge along with her two siblings.  She graduated from Preston High School, then went on to study Bio-Medical Science at the University of Guelph.  She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Toronto in June 2018.

During her four years at the University of Toronto, Dr. Kelsey served as Class Vice-President.  She was actively involved in extra-curriculars, including the Peer Mentorship and Restorative Mentorship programs.  She served as Vice-President Student Life Internal of the Dental Students Society in her 4th year.  Dr. Kelsey graduated on the Dean's List and was awarded the J.G. Bourassa Cup from the Faculty of Dentistry for her academic proficiency and extra-curricular activities.  She was also the recipient of the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award from the University of Toronto in 2018.

Dr. Kelsey has participated in Dental and Medical Outreach opportunities both globally and locally.  She has been on missions to Guatemala and Honduras.  She has also assisted her father at the Health Mission Outreach in Brampton.

Dr. Kelsey is happy to be back home in Cambridge and is excited to have the opportunity to work alongside her father.
